With three-quarter gallery above a rectangular crossbanded gilt-tooled leather writing-surface above a frieze fitted with two short drawers inlaid with Greek-key, with opposing simulated drawers, on square tapering legs headed by swags ending in block sabots, stamped 'MONTIGNY' and 'JME', probably spurious, two rosettes later
