A LATE VICTORIAN SILVER FOUR BRANCH EPERGNE, London c.1891 and 1894, mark of Carrington & Co., each section hallmarked, with central detachable boat shaped bowl, the wavy out-turned rim decorated with floral motifs and scrolling acanthus leaves, raised on quadruped base with four detachable acanthus wrapped outset branches holding detachable circular bowls with gadroon and shell decorated rims, the entire with pierced scrollwork and star decoration, the base set with continuous applied stylised leafy band, raised on four scroll legs and pierced feet, (c.81½ troy ozs). 32cm high x 58cm wide
