A LONGQUAN CELADON 'LOTUS' SAUCER DISH
Southern Song dynasty
With deeply rounded sides and everted rim, molded on the exterior lappets of lotus petals, covered inside and out a translucent celadon green glaze, the short foot glazed and neatly pared to reveal grey porcelain body at the foot rim, now burnt orange from firing.
