dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Austria, Octagonal, rifled, 14 mm cal. barrel, with cylindrical nozzle, marked 'TH. ROTTHALLER', stamped 'W', with fore-sight and adjustable rear sight. Percussion lock with Austrian stamp and date '855'. Wooden, long stock. Iron mounts. Traces of numbering on the back of butt-plate. Socket bayonet (length 71.5 cm). length 111 cm.
