Decorated overall in première partie, the gadrooned rectangular top with a broad brass band and inlaid with a panel of Bérainesque strapwork with exotic birds, beasts, monkeys and baskets of flowers, with concaved central frieze drawer above a drop-down flap flanked to each side by three drawers, on square tapering legs joined by serpentine X-shaped stretchers on turned feet, restorations
