A LOUIS XV STYLE GILT BRONZE-MOUNTED BLACK LACQUER TABLE EN CHIFFONNIERE, MID-19TH CENTURY
with an inset Brèche d'Alep marble top, altered below with a later side drawer, lacking rear sabots
height 28 ½in.; width 21 in.; depth 15 ¼ in.

Condition Report:
Structurally sound and ready to place. The lacquer with craquelure, small chips and losses, and areas of refreshment. The gilt bronze mounts with rubbing, cast flaws, and areas of oxidation and surface dirt as expected with age and use. Very minor shrinkage cracks. Decorated in the round. The top with multiple old repaired breaks and the usual minor surface scratches.
