On spreading foot, the lower body chased with fluting, around the rim with stylised foliage, the body applied with two medaillions depicting 'Autel de l'Amitié' after Boucher, the cover cast with cupid in landscape, engraved on foot with inscription 'DU No. 1 1M 1o.3 G REX VI VAT IN ETERNUM', marked underneath, on foot rim and in cover, in later fitted leather case
