With Damascus steel slightly curved single-edged blade. With a gilt-bronze engraved hilt forming a Makara swallowing a fish. The scabbard is covered with the original red velvet with openwork gilt-bronze mounts.

Lucknow, India, early 19th century.

L: 35 1/2 in., (85 cm.)
Condition: Good overall, some silver inlay is partially lost on the forte, original scabbard velvet is worn.
