A large collection of vintage architectural building components manufactured by Bayko in England, dating from the mid-20th century. The collection comprises a vast assortment of plastic and metal parts compatible with the Bayko construction system. The lot includes:

A quantity of red plastic roof sections of various sizes, with the underside of one medium section bearing the impressed mark Patented Bayko Medium Roof No 2 Made In England.

Multiple green plastic baseplates and floor sections, including those with 15 x 11 and 15 x 6 hole configurations.

An assortment of white and red plastic wall bricks, featuring both straight and curved variants, alongside green-moulded window frames, doors, and white plastic fencing.

A large bundle of steel building rods in varying lengths and a collection of metal base links and plates, currently housed in a vintage Warricks Glycerine Lemon & Honey Pastilles tin.

Three original paper instruction booklets for Bayko Suggested Models Built From Building Set No. 4, featuring detailed plans and colour illustrations for a House & Garage model. The items are contained within several yellow cardboard sorting trays and a larger non-original cardboard carton.

More Information

The collection is in a played-with condition throughout. The plastic components show varying degrees of surface dirt and minor scuffs consistent with age and use. Several metal rods and the base plates within the pastilles tin exhibit significant surface oxidation and rust (photo 4). The instruction booklets show noticeable foxing, staining, and wear to the edges and spines (photo 2 and 9). The yellow internal sorting trays are worn with some torn corners and tape repairs (photo 7).
