A Large Georgian Vanity Box - Rosewood - circa 1820-1830
A large sized (37cm) length fully kitted gents box made from an immaculate rosewood exterior with brass bounding around the edging and of course the flush carrying brass handles either side. It’s an early example dating to late Georgian early Victorian c. 1820/30. It made to a strong campaign/military style and built with quality in mind and would have been used by a gent with money and authority. It’s in great original condition and truly is a superb example. The interior is fully kitted out for all manner of jars/bottles and tools. The interior also comprises of a lift out tray and a stationery pocket and mirror to the lid.
