of large rectangular form, the front of the iron panel inlaid with metal decoration showing a crane resting on rockery amongst flowers, inscribed with a two-character maker's mark, 壽義, and a three-character seal mark, set in a large gilt decorated lacquered wood frame.
Framed height 52 1/4 x width 35 1/4 in., 132.6 x 89.5 cm.

Overall good and stable condition. Inset decoration largely intact and stable, with minor oxidation. Possible loss of one lotus petal to the left side, and one of the crane's legs moves freely. Hardwood frame with light dust and just a few shallow age splits.
