A Late Victorian Thomas Perry and Son Ltd Fire-Resisting Floor Safe
Condition Report:
The safe exhibits signs of age and industrial use consistent with its function. There is widespread paint loss, surface wear, and scratching to the exterior finish. Areas of oxidation and minor surface corrosion are present, particularly on the hinges and lower sections. The brass hardware shows a deep natural patina. Structural integrity appears intact, although the internal mechanism has not been tested.
