The well painted with a Turkish figure wearing a turban and holding a coffee pot, within a chinoiserie style cartouche made up of iron-red trellis panels and scrollwork edged with green scrolls, a lantern hanging from a branch and a grotesque creature perched above, the cup with similar decoration of a chinoiserie figure waving flags, the rims gilt, the cup: 6.6cm high; the saucer: 11.5cm diam., star marks in iron-red (saucer with short restored haircrack and tiny restuck section to rim) (2)
