Bronze signed in the casting: Lina M¸ller; base impressed to underside: Wedgwood / Made in England
The patinated bronze sculpture of a nude Baccante holding a tambourine mounted on a Wedgwood blue and white jasperware architectural pedestal, each side depicting putti and lily of the valley
Overall: 24.25" H x 10.25" W x 8.75" D: Figure: 18" H
Condition Report: The bronze overall good condition with scuffs and darkening/oxidation to bronze commensurate with age. As well, verso with drip in patination measuring 5" long. The base overall good condition with chipped losses to beads of corners. As well, with scattered mounting residue to crevices of applied white components. Bronze is loose from its mounting, with attendant wear to the top of pedestal around juncture points. Condition reports are offered as a courtesy and are typically published in Moran's catalogue or can be made available upon request. The absence of a condition report does not imply that an item is free from defects or restoration, nor does a reference to particular defects imply the absence of others. Buyers are responsible for determining to their own satisfaction the true nature and condition of any lot prior to bidding.
