A Louis XIV Petit-Point Needlework Panel, Possibly German, Late 17th Century
in a parcel-gilt and brown-painted frame
height with frame 31 1/4 in.; width with frame 70 in.

Condition Report:
In good restored condition with nice colors. Restorations are well done and do not distract from the quality of the panel. 2-3" around edge of top and sides has been re-stitched with further scattered re-stitchings within the field. Partially oxidised dark and medium browns. Some fading to colors. Repaired curved slit into right side and small repaired slit to left side. Please note that the needlework has not been examined out of frame. Frame with minor losses to decoration.
