Condition Report:
The chair stamped TILLIARD is slightly smaller; the approximate height is 38.25 in., approximate width is 25.25 in., and approximate depth is 21.25 in. Both chairs with losses to carving and gilt surfaces revealing gesso, bole, and bare wood in areas. They could benefit from retouching if desired. Each with signs of minor old repairs, particularly to joints. Chairs are very sturdy and ready to use. The upholstery with minor wear and marks commensurate with use.
