The white paint and the gold have age and good patina, but are probably not 18th century decoration. The table may have had its decoration "refreshed" or entirely repainted at some point. There are minor age cracks, small chips to edges of carved elements, worm holes, flaking paint and scratches throughout as is typical. The marble top might not be 18th century, but it is older. It has scratches at its edges and minor discolorations/surface wear.
