European Furniture & Decorative Arts The desk is sturdy and presents well. The tooled black leather top is dry and slightly brittle. One gilt bronze sabot is missing and one is loose. Two of the gilt bronze pieces at the top corners are loose. There are a few repairs to the veneer throughout. One of the drawers is warped and does not close completely. We do not have a key.
