Property from a Private Collection, Stuart, Florida European Furniture & Decorative Arts The case is sturdy and presents well overall. A set of modern LED light strips were recently added to illuminate the case and a small hole was drilled into the back of the case to accommodate the light cord. The mirrored glass backplates to the interior of the case have loosened. The green velvet lining is faded. The gilt mounts are faded. There is a repair to the wood at the lower left and a dent at upper left. The veneer is overall in fine condition but there are some stable splits due to age in select areas.
