A Louis XV Style Gilt Bronze Mounted Parquetry Commode after a model by charles cressent, 20th century the marble top of serpentine outline above the conforming case having two drawers mounted with a flaming urn among flowering branches and two putti, raised on cabriole legs mounted with putti espagnolettes and ending in cast paw feet. Height 34 1/2 x width 51 1/2 x depth 22 inches.
Condition Report: In overall good, stable, usable condition. Case with even finish, with only very minor surface wear. Mounts all present with even, bright patina. Marble top intact without repair. Drawers open and close smoothly. Modern. Additional images available upon request.
