the domed crest mounted with a fan issuing foliate scrolls above the case fitted with glazed sides and a door painted to depict a courting couple in a landscape flanked by two river scenes, the corners mounted with ram mask espagnolettes, raised on splayed legs.

Old scuffs, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Heavier chip to surface on body to upper left of door. Some separation to joints. One foreleg lacking sabot. Windows are glass.
