A Louis XV Style Gilt Metal Mounted Kingwood Vitrine
late 19th century
having a shaped marble top with eared corners above the conforming case mounted with two cherubs among roses, the glazed sides and three glazed doors opening to a shelved interior, the central door mounted with a censer cast to show ram masks, raised on short cabriole legs with foliate espagnolettes ending in sabots.
Height 69 1/2 x width 57 x depth 17 inches.

Interior of lock from door stamped E. LAURENT/PARIS/ 62 RUE DE CHARONNE.
In overall good, stable, usable condition. Marble top intact but with small repair to one back corner and some minor chipping to edges. All bronze mounts appear intact with fairly bright, even patina. Glass intact to front and sides without cracks. Three glass shelves likewise intact. Exterior of case with even finish, typical light surface wear consistent was age, legs appear a little darker.
