A Louis XV Style Painted Fauteuil

italian, 18th century
later-painted, having a domed padded back above the stuffover seat, raised on cabriole legs ending in scroll feet, with Fortuny cotton upholstery.
Height 43 x width 25 x depth 25 inches.

One leg broken during shipping and glue-repaired recently. Upholstery intact with scattered faint stains and a hole to the seat approximately a 1/2-inch in length. Painted surface probably not original, but with significant age.
