Condition Report:
The illustration is accurate. Good overall condition despite the inevitable minor scratches and marks due to age and use.
Some traces of cleaning product on the gilt-bronze mounts. There are the usual minor restorations to the veneer. The veneer is slightly lifting on both lateral sides. An old chip to the marble top on the left hand lateral side.
The lower part is fitted with a nice electrical fitting as it was used as a show case. The lower part was probably originally fitted with two shelves which are now missing but they can be easily reproduced.
Very nice model.
