A Louis XVI Cerused Oak Armoire
A Louis XVI Cerused Oak Armoire
Late 18th/Early 19th Century
Height 93 x width 55 x depth 22 inches.
Property from the Private Collection of a Lady, Atlanta, Georgia European Furniture & Decorative Arts
Sturdy and attractive condition overall. Tight age cracks in the doors; one door with a wider age crack running horizontally through it and and a slight separation between the panel of the door and the frame of the door, with an area of gray-ish paint that might be from a repair attempt, or glue residue. Minor chips to edges of flowers on the basket crests. The interior later upholstered and wired for illumination.
