A Louis XVI Style Brass Inlaid Mahogany Bureau a Cylindre

the rectangular galleried top above the cylinder opening to a leather-inset writing surface and a fitted interior, further over a series of five drawers, raised on cylindrical fluted tapering legs.
Height 48 x width 57 x depth 28 inches.
In overall good, stable, usable condition. Marble top intact without cracks or repairs, gallery to marble top missing one small section to the back left corner as viewed. Mahogany with even finish throughout, minor surface wear (nicks and scratches) consistent with age. Some age splits, most noticeable to the cylinder and to the drawer bottoms. The cylinder and drawers all open and close smoothly, with locks, one key (bent but working).
Leather to interior writing surface worn/distressed.
