A Louis XVI Style Gilt Bronze Mounted Parquetry Vitrine Cabinet victor raulin, paris, third quarter 19th century the three-quarter galleried inset marble top above glazed sides and two glazed doors opening to a glass shelf, further over a rectangular top with rounded corners above a single frieze drawer mounted with two young satyrs holding a grapevine supporting a reclining Bacchic putto, raised on cylindrical fluted tapering legs joined by a medial shelf, stamped RAULIN. Height 46 3/4 x width 20 3/4 x depth 15 inches.

In overall good, stable, attractive condition. Old scuffs, marks and scratches throughout consistent with age and use. Two gilt elements of medial shelf detached but retained. Additional images available upon request.
