The dial signed 'M.ons Wurtel/[illegible] Vivienne 38 & 40/PARIS,' the mechanism stamped 'M.on WURTEL/HORLOGERIE/E. PIEDORT SuccP' and numbered 363746, the pendulum numbered 3637.

Condition report:

With pendulum and winding key. Areas of the brass inlay lifting, one area with a small loss. The tortoiseshell with some cracks and age-related distortions, some minor losses. Rubbing and scratches to gilt mounts, some oxidiation and dirt/grime present. Some scratches, chips, and discoloration to enamel dial, one diagonal crack with losses at edge between one and two o'clock hours. Some splitt at top of case. One block to interior of case detached but present. Scratches to black-painted interior. Door at back, does not fully close, wood has likely expanded over time and now prevents door from closing and latching shut. No glass dome present over dial. Not tested for functionality or timekeeping ability.
