A Louis XVI carved giltwood console table, late 18th century, with variegated marble top, 86cm high, 90cm wide, 39cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Old chips and splits. Some small losses to carved elements. Also to the gilt surface there are chips and losses, Some rubbing and wear to the gilt areasChips and losses to some areas of the marble topGilding has been refreshed. Vacant holes to carcass from previous fixtures. Also a metal bracket, some minor chips to the edge of the marble top.
