The upper section with a pair of paneled drawers enclosing a configuration of pigeon holes and drawers above a hinged slant front reversing to a writing surface and enclosing a configuration of drawers and pigeon holes centered by a door.
height 96 1/2in (245cm); width 51 1/2in (131cm); depth 25in (63.5cm)
Condition Report: Structurally sound. Timber very dense and substantial. Well made. In overall restored condition.
General marks, nicks, scratches, rubbing and wear. Visible old woodworm. With horizontal cracks running in from edges of fall front. Repairs to fall front hinges. Repairs to upper section hinges. Hardware replaced. With plugged holes to drawer fronts. Areas of patched repair, infill and overpainted restoration, notably to extremities. Bending to loper pulls. One key to door inside fall front.
