A double-action factory-engraved Belgian Montenegrin with bone grips. Chambered for the 11.3mm x 36mm black powder shell. Action crisp, marked at the base of the barrel with the King Nikola I mark and F A L BREVETE with matching number 1104 throughout. Latter 19th century. Substantial losses to nickel. The King Nikola I mark on the barrel indicates that it was made exclusively for and imported to the Montenegrin market in order to arm the populace. Overall length 26cm. Condition IV
