A MAHAL CARPET approximately 273 x 376cmCondition Report: Wear overall. Wear reveal underlying weft in areas throughout. Fringing is short at both ends and has wear, fraying and losses. This wear has encroached into the guard stripe in places at one end. The other end has later thread applied to help secure. Small patch repair to centre of fringing at one end. Longest edges have been re-bound at some point. They have varying shades of madder thread used and bear the expected wear, fraying and some loose threads.
