A MEIJI PERIOD JAPANESE CAST BRONZE TEMPLE CANDLESTICK
The 19th century Japanese cast bronze pricket temple candlestick with reeded body supported on a domed, ribbed base and rising to a similar terminal with a galleried rail for supporting the candle (the original pricket in the center is missing), silvered ferrule to top and bottom of the stem chased with scrolling acanthus leaves, no markings found.
Measures 27 x 7 inches.
