the cylindrical body with a double scroll spout, a turned wood handle and a flat cover with a metal scroll handle and escutcheon, enamelled and gilded with Kakiemon type decoration of chrysanthemums, butterflies and birds, unmarked but impressed '23'. 17cm high
Small glaze chip to the inner rim of the cover, light surface wear, rubbing to gilding and some light scratching to the design. Wooden handle possibly replaced.
