The Mother of God holding the Christ Child on her right arm who looks up at his mother and lovingly stetches his arm around her neck. Christ's orange chiton decorated with intense chrysography. Minimally restored. The inscription at the bottom of the icon relates the story of the original apparition of the Feodorovskaya Mother of God. It explains that this is a copy of that original, which appeared on the 16th August 1239, an event that is celebrated on the 14th March and that it appeared to Grand Prince Vasilii Georgievich Kvashnya of Kostroma and Galich. Halbfigurige Darstellung der Gottesmutter Feodorowskaja, die ein rotes Maphorion trägt und ihren Sohn auf ihrem rechten Arm hält. Mit ihrer Linken weist sie auf ihn. Der Christusknabe umfasst den Hals seiner Mutter und schmiegt seine Wange an die der Gottesmutter. Unter der Gottesmutterdarstellung zweigeteiltes, schmales Inschriften-Band.
