Cal. .36(BlackPowder), SN. 27338, matching numbers. Octagonal barrel, length 6½", matte, slightly frosted bore with good lands and grooves, but needs cleaning. Polished metal parts, partially stained and finely pitted. Single-line maker's mark "MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS CO. NEWARK N.J." on barrel top. Cylinder with roll engraving and patent marking on the cylinder edge. Brass trigger guard, the silver plating partially thinly preserved. Smooth walnut grip panels with signs of use. Cylinder transport not working properly, the arbor-pin wedge a bit wiggly. Length circa 29 cm.
