Inscribed twice by the author to his second wife's children from her first marriage, one to Albert Field Ehrgott in 1917, the year before his death in a tragic accident when his mother, Sara Bard Field, tumbled down a Marin hillside killing Albert, severely injuring herself, and causing lesser injuries to her daughter Kay and Wood. Two years later, Wood re-inscribed the book to Kay. Pages unopened. Also includes a handwritten list of errata opposite title page.
Condition Report: Toning to boards, internal foxing and toning; overall very good.
