A Meissen Kakiemon shaped dish, circa 1735
Of oblong shape, painted in Kakiemon style with the 'Flying Fox' pattern, of a squirrel perched on one of two banded hedges and another overhead, over an elaborate diaper pattern, the reverse painted with scattered flowers, brown-edged rim, 20.2cm long, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue (broken through the middle and restored)
