The tureen and platter with Watteau style scenes and with gilded and foral relief decoration, also with scattered bugs and insects. The inside and underside of the tureen decorated in 'faux marbre' (marble pattern). The lid with a figural cupid holding a horn of plenty spilling fruits and flowers. The platter is marked with the Meissen crossed swords with a star underneath. Restoration.
