A Meissen porcelain bust of Louis-Joseph-Xavier de Bourbon

Portrait of the young prince dressed in a feather topped bonnet and a white lace shirt. Blue crossed swords mark, incised model number 2744, pressnummer 35, unglazed base. Restaurierte Chips um die Sockelkante, minimale Chips an der linken Schulter und dem weißen Band. H 23.5 cm.
Model by Johann Joachim Kaendler, circa/after 1753, presumably produced in the 18th C.

"From the property of a Württemberg aristocrat, auctioned by Lempertz Cologne, auction 845 on 14th November 2003, lot 167.
