Round cup with original saucer. Finely painted with merchant navy scenes in gilt scrollwork cartouches. Blue crossed swords mark, unidentified dreher's mark with a star for Paul Wildenstein (saucer) and impressed 66 (cup), 64 in gold. A small restored rim chip to the cup, the gilding partially retouched. Cup H 4,6, UT D 13,1 cm.
Circa 1740/45, decor in the manner of Christian Friedrich Herold.
