A Meissen porcelain cup with Classical busts en grisaille
Painted with Classical style portraits in gilt medallions labelled "ANTISTHENES" and "PITTACUS". Blue crossed swords mark with star, blue I in the basal ring (saucer), impressed marks. Restored rim chip to the cup (yellowed), wear to the gilding.
