A Meissen porcelain figure of Harlequin with bagpipes
Finely painted figure in a pointed celadon green hat depicted sitting with crossed legs on a rock mound base playing the bagpipes. Blue crossed swords mark on the back of the plinth, unglazed base. With a firing crack, the hat restored. H 14.4 cm.
Model by Johann Joachim Kaendler, 1736.
