A Meissen porcelain model of a lady with a pug dog in a sedan chair
Depicting an elegant lady holding a closed fan sitting in a sedan with her lap dog. Unglazed base with incised P. Mark, indistinct purple painter's mark, no crossed swords mark. Small breakage to the top of the sedan, a restored chip to the front left ring. H 10.5 cm.
Model attributed to Peter Reinicke, circa 1755.

A further example with identical decor in the Reissmuseum Mannheim in Rückert, Munich 1966, no. 964, therein mentioned a price list from 1765: "Porte-Chaise nebst Heyducken".
