A Meissen porcelain tea service with merchant navy scenes
Comprising a teapot and sugar box with original lids and four teabowls with original saucers. All items finely decorated with merchant navy scenes and figures in water landscapes. Blue crossed swords mark, various dreher's marks, including those of Paul Wildenstein and Johann Gottlieb Kühnel sen., gold B. (on all pieces, also the lids). With a glued, flat breakage to the lid of the teapot,Spout restored, finial of sugar box reattached, wear to the gilding. H tea pot 9.5, D sugar box 11 cm.
