A Meissen teabowl and saucer, circa 1735

Each painted with a chinoiserie scene within a gilt scrollwork cartouche embellished with Böttger lustre and edged with iron-red scrollwork, gilt scrollwork borders to the rims, the interior of the teabowl with indianische Blumen, the saucer: 12.6cm diam., crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, gilt 12. to both (restored haircrack) (2)
