A Meshed carpet, the navy field decorated profusely in polychrome with flowering branches, within similarly decorated red boarders, cream and navy guard stripes, approximately 601 x 413cm
The signature element of the carpet is dated 1905 and appears to incorporate the Tughra of an Ottoman Sultan, likely either Mehmed V or Abdul Hamid II.
