c.1900, designed by George Jack, with chequer inlaid banding and parquetry sides and back, the shaped top opening to reveal a baize-lined surface, over a central fall front writing surface, the interior fitted with pigeonholes, two drawers and a hinged compartment, flanked with cupboards, each enclosing two adjustable shelves and a drawer, the sides of bowed form, raised on a cushion frieze over an arched apron, with fret-cut stretchers,
