A Multi-Gem Set Four Leaf Clover Brooch, circa 1900 vari-sized heart cut amethyst, peridot, garnet and citrine, positioned point to point, with a split pearl centrally and with split pearl terminations, to a yellow plain polished stem with split pearl accents measures 2.5cm by 2.2cm

The brooch is in fair condition, commensurate with age, there is some slight discolouration to the metal, and damages to the surfaces of some of the pearls. It fastens with a pin and c-hook catch and features a safety chain. It bears no hallmark nor stamp but in our opinion would test as gold. There is a worn stamp of a flower motif on the back. With a box labelled Bristol Goldsmiths Alliance. Gross weight 5.11 grams. CR made 08.09.26. A Condition Report is an honest expression of our opinion, not a statement of fact and is provided as a service to the Seller. All lots are available on public view ahead of an auction and we encourage people to see an item in person when possible. Our Condition Reports are not prepared by professional conservators, restorers or engineers, and are prepared with the naked eye unless otherwise stated. Works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. We accept no liability for the opinions expressed in any Condition Report. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
