The group after a model by Emile Herbert, the movement by J. Lefebure & Fils and Japy Frères, Paris, last quarter 19th Century, comprising a clock and two five light candelabra, the clock surmounted by a maiden and putto, signed ‘E. Herbert’, with twin barrel movement, Brocot suspension, rack striking to bell, the movement signed ‘J. LEFEBURE & FILS/PARIS’ and ‘728’, with Japy Frères cachet, the candelabra en suite each with bulbous support terminating in a bust, all cast with lions pelts, on paw feet.
